CK Voice Lessons Christmas Concert 2017 – Big Band & Motown Hits! A journey through time to dance, celebrate, and enjoy! And the CKVL talents will also sing their best songs with the HMTM Big Band Hannover.
Do you still remember our Christmas concert last year? It was a fun gathering, the atmosphere was lively, and there was a lot of joy in the air. The students of the CK Voice Academy gave it their all, put on a heartwarming performance, and really warmed us up during the cold season. These are the experiences our students have shared with us throughout the year.
We're currently busy preparing for the upcoming event. On December 2, 2017, it's that time of year again—the CK Voice Academy Christmas Concert is back for another edition!
When soul music caresses your ears
As some of you know, we also see ourselves as a go-to destination for top-notch soul and R&B. That’s only natural, since the founder of the vocal school, Carl Keaton Jr., is the son of the famous soul singer of the same name from St. Louis (Missouri, USA). Every now and then, one or two of our students are drawn to the Land of Opportunity to test the waters as singers there. This year, we’re coming full circle with legendary Motown hits, accompanied by the outstanding big band from the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media. We’re ’Back to the Roots!‘
Working together to make this event a success! With that in mind, we would like to thank the City of Music Hannover for its support.
This will allow our students to perform songs like „Respect,“ „Higher Ground,“ and „Fever“ accompanied by the 18-piece big band. Top-notch! We recommend wearing shoes suitable for dancing, and bring your friends along for an unforgettable evening together.
