Vocal Coach

Lisa

"Voice and expression—both are already there. It's about letting go. With me, my students learn to let go of their fears and muscular tension. They are given the space to develop freely."

Lisa (Vocal coach and singing teacher) She clutches a microphone that’s much too big for her delicate little hands, the speakers turned all the way up. Her clear, girlish voice echoes through the house. The stage setup: totally retro, straight out of the "80s. An old karaoke machine—still with a cassette deck—and a tape by Nena—"99 Luftballons”—are among Lisa’s most vivid musical childhood memories. This ’80s song and the Disney classics are the soundtrack to her first attempts at singing at age 10.

She's been playing the recorder since elementary school, and she even enjoys learning to read music. But what she looks forward to most are the performances that come with music class. She's literally drawn to the stage.

"I never suffered from paralyzing stage fright. I always looked forward to going on stage. I was eager to showcase my voice.‘

At age 14, she began taking singing lessons and learned to play the guitar. Her goal: to be able to accompany herself.

In high school, she sings in the choir. Her voice teacher offers workshops and much more, which Lisa loves. Eventually, she also does her student internship with her voice teacher. She observes during voice lessons. These are her first experiences with vocal coaching. For the first time, she’s on the other side of the classroom, eagerly soaking up everything.

After graduating from high school, she went to Australia to learn English, the main language of popular music. On the other side of the world, she decided to enroll in the "Popular Music and Media" program at the University of Paderborn. Toward the end of her studies, she spent a semester abroad in Brazil. The stereotype of the warm-hearted people there proved to be true. She was fascinated by their natural approach to music, their physicality, and their dancing. Lisa felt right at home. Those months would have a lasting impact on her career.

She takes this profound inspiration with her to Germany and applies to the Stage School—School for Dance, Singing, and Acting in Hamburg. She is accepted and boldly pursues her dream of starring in a musical of her own before long. One thing that is particularly close to her heart is a children’s musical—a solo performance. As the little number-cruncher, she sings on school stages and encourages her audience to sing along.

"I want to make children's hearts beat faster. Music brings so much joy and excitement, and helps children broaden their horizons."

Lisa has been a part of the CK Voice Academy since 2023. Her boundless passion for singing and her desire to perform on stage make her a valuable member of our family of vocal coaches.

If you're looking for a vocal coach who can teach you the skills you need for your live performances, Lisa is the one for you. She specializes in pop, R&B, and musical theater.
Singing should be effortless; it should come naturally. That's the only way to fully express yourself, as Lisa says.

"When we sing, we use our minds to guide our voices, which is why I like to speak in imagery—it makes the vocal cords, which we can't see, more accessible to us. That way, we can control them better and produce sounds more easily—in a healthy and expressive way."

Lisa has a very natural teaching style as a vocal coach. She sensitively guides you through the techniques that will help you improve, always taking your feedback into account. She also helps you develop your artistic expression.

In short: She draws on a wealth of experience, which she shares with you with great joy and enthusiasm.
