Do I already need to be able to sing to a backing track?
No. If you have mostly sung along to the original recording so far, you can start from there. In your lessons we discuss what you still need for singing on your own and work on it using your song.
Do I need my own recording studio for online lessons?
No. All you need is a stable internet connection and a smartphone, tablet or laptop with camera and sound. For your lesson there should be a place where you can sing undisturbed. Agree the specific setup with us beforehand; please don't buy studio equipment in advance.
Can I work on a specific song rather than a stage set?
Yes. Vocal coaching can start from a song or even a single passage. Tell us what matters to you about it and where your question lies. Together you can discuss the interpretation, for example. You don't need to set yourself a performance goal for that.
