CK Voice Lessons – A Talent Incubator in Hanover
The Vocal School for Aspiring Singers and Professionals
Quietly and unobtrusively—in stark contrast to its profession—the CK Voice Academy at Callinstrasse 42 has grown to become Hanover’s largest singing school in just eight years. The team consists of ten experienced coaches, all of whom are professional singers with years of stage experience. The curriculum is tailored to each individual. The CK Voice Academy’s mission is to provide training and support for people of all ages,
From four to 100 years old. The „CK Voice Lessons Comprehensive Program“ supports both beginners and professional singers according to their goals: Experienced singers receive guidance to overcome challenges in the studio or on stage. Amateur singers can develop into stage-ready professionals. Always the focus—the joy of singing! For almost all singers, applause is the greatest reward. Such experiences are made possible through annual live events (Christmas concerts, etc.). And this year, for the first time, these talented singers will perform live at the Maschseefest, from August 2 to 20, 2017. The program features original compositions worth hearing and popular cover songs from the genres of R&B, soul, jazz, funk, rock, and pop.

„Joy—that’s what matters,“ says Carl Keaton Jr., founder and director of the singing school and son of the well-known soul singer of the same name from St. Louis (Missouri, USA). He founded the Voice Academy in 2009, believing that singing should no longer be isolated from other creative processes. He envisioned a school that would comprehensively cover all areas. Today, those interested in singing can choose from an extensive range of offerings. The CK Voice Academy specializes in personalized one-on-one coaching, workshops on audition preparation and songwriting, studio coaching, preparation for college entrance exams, and warm-up sessions for professionals. In keeping with the times, all services are also available worldwide via online lessons.
Winners of talent shows, such as Jamie Lee (The Voice of Germany) from Hanover, use this concept to their advantage and to enhance the sound of their voices.

In the most recent season of DSDS, Andrea Renzulo—who attended the CK Voice Academy for a few months to prepare—sang his way into the next round.
From A to Z: The overall package is rounded out by the opportunity to write and record your own songs. The in-house music label „CK Artist Agency“ promotes local artists, assists with releases, and brings ambitious talents to the stage.
