Would you like to apply everything you've learned in individual coaching in a choir in Hanover? Are you just starting to sing or would you like to improve your singing? Are you just the sociable type and need that group feeling?
Welcome to the Contemporary Choir Hannover! The CK Voice Academy choir is directed by Calvin and consists of two groups - Basic and Advanced. This means that anyone of any age and with any singing ability can take part in our
sound project. In our choirs, you will sing contemporary compositions from pop, soul, jazz, R'n'B, ...
Have you ever had goosebumps because a polyphonic choir has fully reached you with the harmonies it sings? The unique feeling when the singers harmonize with each other and develop their full power together in the performance - you can experience that too! Singing together also teaches you a lot about your own voice and how to use it.
This is what awaits you in the Basic Choir:
- Beginners and returners are very welcome
- Lossingen without prior knowledge
- Teaching the basics of singing
- Focus on breathing techniques, simple singing exercises and voice development
- Professional help with finding your voice and place in the group
- Ideal voice training in a group
This is what awaits you in the Advanced Choir:
- Singers with some experience
- First previous knowledge of singing and using the voice
- Practicing complex arrangements in the group
- Time signature through body and vocal percussion
- Focus on improvisation of the compositions
No matter which group you join, whether Basic or Advanced, you don't need to know how to read music - with us you sing by ear and by concept. Theory lessons are a small part of the sessions, everything is always applied immediately. Learning through experience is also the top priority here. Each group meets once a week. And you can apply everything you learn in individual coaching directly in the choir and gain additional practical experience.
